The 50 best Nintendo game tunes

I’ve been a Nintendo fan since the age of 2, with games like Super Mario World and Super Mario Land 2 as my very first games. And of course with the line of Nintendo games and consoles came a whole new type of music. A good chunk of these songs are 8-bit, which isn’t to everybody’s taste. Because so many good songs were made by Nintendo and 3rd party developers, I came with the idea to look for the 50 best. Again, this is my own opinion.

“Funny” joke (translated from Dutch)

While doing archeological research, Russian scientists have found the remains of copper wire 100 meters deep, with an estimated age of 1000 years. The Russians concluded that their ancestors already had a communication network a 1000 years ago!

In response to that, the Americans conducted their own research. At 200 meters deep, they found the remains of glass fiber cable. After research, they concluded that the wire is about 2000 years old. So the Americans had a very advanced network over 2000 years ago.

After the conclusion of the Americans, the Dutch also conducted their own research. At 500 meters, they found absolutely nothing! Their conclusion is that the Dutch had a wireless network over 5000 years ago!

A very silly joke, but it made me laugh!

Tutorial PHP & MySQL – Part 1: Setting up your environment

A must-have for a programmer is a piece of software on his computer to directly test his webapplication. You make a file, and you can directly test it in your browser. The other way to test a file is to upload it to your webspace and then test it. Its way easier to do this on your own computer (and you dont have the restrictions your webhosts charges you). Im going to explain how to get this piece of software and how to install it.

SFCave (Android game)

A few days ago, I found a funny little game on Android Market. You have to maneuver a snake through a cave. You control the snake by pushing the touch screen of your Android phone. If you push it, the snake will go up. If you relaese it, the snake will go down. But this isn’t easy! The snake has to take a route through a cave, but there are many obstacles. The cave also gets narrower every time.
